Need to Know:

  • The first thing to think about when building a shed is how big you need it to be.

  • Buffalo Built sheds are available in four different standard configurations.

  • These designs give us a standard base to work from, but we can certainly customise your shed to fit your property.

How Do I Know What Size Shed I Need?

The size of your shed will depend on a few factors including:

  • Your overall shed budget
  • What you intend to use it for
  • The available space on your property
  • The potential for using the space differently in the future
  • How it contributes to the resale value of your property

Of course, the bigger the shed, the more expensive it will be – but you may be able to minimise customisation costs by selecting a size and shape that falls within the standard ranges listed above.

"It’s also important to think about how things may change in the future – building a shed that’s big enough to grow with you will ensure you’ve got ample space available for many years to come.," says Ross.
