Olive Farm Shed

Buffalo Built recently built a machinery shed for aspiring olive farmer Nathan K. at Wandiligong in North East Victoria.

Nathan is starting to prepare his ground to plant an olive grove, an exciting move for the Melbourne-based man.

The shed is the first step towards his goal, with it providing storage space and also security for his machinery while he’s setting everything up.

He was referred to Buffalo Built by another Wangaratta-based business.

“All our dealings were on the phone and email because of Covid,” he said.

“My initial impression was pretty good.

“The quote came back fast and was good, it was within $1000 of a competitor’s price.”

The quote may have been marginally more expensive, but Nathan felt Buffalo Built was the right business for the job.

“I live in Melbourne, so I wanted better customer service.”

The 12m by 10m shed will also have a mezzanine floor added for storage.

One day a house will also be built on the site and will likely utilise the same Monument colour palette.

For now, it’s all about getting the olives up and going.

“The shed’s up now, it’s going to be a very exciting 12 months ahead.”
